Returns policy

7-Day Cooling-Off Period for Stock Items
Stock items refer to ready-made products available for direct purchase via our eCommerce store. These items are typically shipped within 2–5 business days of purchase. If you are dissatisfied with your order, you may request a full refund within 7 business days of receiving your item. To be eligible for a refund:
- The item must be unused and in the same condition in which it was received.
- It must be returned in its original packaging with all original labels and stickers attached.
- Proof of purchase is required.
- You must notify us within 7 business days of receiving the item.
- The item must be returned at your own cost within 2–5 business days of notifying us.
All returned goods will be inspected within 72 hours of arrival at our
warehouse. Once approved, we will issue a refund equivalent to the purchase price, excluding any delivery or collection charges. Refunds for products shipped to South Africa will be made in South African Rands (ZAR) to your original payment method.
Excluded Products
Please note that the following items cannot be returned or cancelled once an order has been placed:
- Wallpaper
- Sale items
- Discontinued stock
- Made-to-order, special-order, custom, or personalised products
Product Descriptions
While we make every effort to ensure that the descriptions, images, and specifications of our products are as accurate as possible, Giava Interiors does not guarantee that all product details are complete, error-free, or current. Many of our items are handcrafted or made from natural materials and may vary slightly from their images or descriptions. This natural variation is not considered a defect.
If a product does not match its description, your sole remedy is to return it in an unused condition according to the terms of this Returns Policy. Giava Interiors reserves the right to determine the eligibility of such returns.
How to Initiate a Return
To start the return process, please email us at info@giavainteriors.com with:
- Your full name and order number
- Reason for the return
- Clear photos of the product (and packaging, if applicable)
Once reviewed, we’ll provide you with the return address and further instructions.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Include photographs of both the item and the packaging. If the claim is valid, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund—at our discretion—at no additional cost to you.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval. Please note that processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or bank.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to order a different item, please follow the return process above and place a new order through our website.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund after 10 business days:
1. Check your bank account or card statement again.
2. Contact your bank or credit card company—it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
3. If you’ve done all of the above and still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@giavainteriors.com.
Policy Updates
Giava Interiors reserves the right to update or amend this Returns Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will apply to orders placed after the updated policy is published on our website.
