Refund policy
7 Day Cooling Off Period
Stock items are ready-made products that are purchased directly from our Ecommerce store and generally shipped within 2-5 business days. Should you be dissatisfied with the product received, please contact us within 7 business days of receipt of the order for a full refund. To be eligible for a refund, your goods must be unused and in the same condition you received it, in its original packaging with the original labels and stickers attached, and accompanied by proof of purchase and returned at your own cost within 2-5 business days of notifying us. The returned goods will be inspected within 72 hours of arriving at our warehouse. Once we've determined that it meets the above stated criteria, our team will issue a refund to the value of the purchase price, less applicable delivery and/or collection fees. Returns for products shipped to South Africa will be accepted and refunded in South African Rands (ZAR).Excluded products:Wallpaper, sale items, discontinued stock items and made-to-order goods (including custom orders or personalised items) cannot be cancelled or returned once the order has been placed.
Refund Processing
Refunds will be made within 5 business days after inspection of the product. Refunds will be made via EFT into the customer's provided bank account upon presentation of banking details from their bank.
Receipt of Defective Goods
In the unlikely event of receiving defective or damaged goods, please contact us within 24 hours at info@giavainteriors.com. Client service is at the core of our business and it is our aim to ensure that your goods are repaired or replaced (at the manufacturer's discretion) timeously.
12 Month Workmanship Warranty
We offer a 12 month warranty on defects in workmanship, materials and construction from the date of purchase, based on reasonable and intended use, provided such products were properly installed and were made or assembled exclusively by DIY Girls Pty Ltd.
6 Month Materials Warranty
We guarantee that the materials is free of degradation resulting from other than ordinary residential wear and tear for 6 months from the date of purchase, based on reasonable use.
Warranty exclusions
The workmanship and materials warrantees exclude the following cases:(1) Custom handmade-to-order goods. (2) Any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance, cleaning or care. (3) Any condition or damages resulting from accidents, alterations, misuse, neglegence, exposure to the elements, excessive humidity or moisture, exposure to salt air, insects or pets, or failure to follow instruction with respect to measurement, installation, cleaning or maintenance. (4) Any condition resulting from other than ordinary residential wear or from any use for which the product was not designed. (5) The colour fastness, dye lot variations, wrinkling, or wear of fabrics or leather. (6) The softening of filling materials under normal use. (7) Any goods that have been altered by any party other than DIYgirls. (7) Any transport, labour, measuring or installation charges. Please note:- This warranty is not transferable and resale and/or transfer of any goods will void this warranty.- No verbal warranty claims can be entertained.- All warranty claims are to be made in writing and sent to info@giavainteriors.com, including proof of purchase, original order number and clear reference to the product on the order. A detailed description as well as clear photographs of the problem is required. - DIYgirls reserves the right to inspect any warranty claim product at the point of delivery.
