The Matthias Dining Chair is like that stylish friend who’s effortlessly chic without trying too hard. Upholstered in a soft fabric, this chair invites you to sit back and relax in understated luxury. The contrasting dark leather that wraps around the back creates a modern twist on a classic design, while the curved backrest offers exceptional comfort. With tapered legs and a sleek silhouette, this chair oozes sophistication, all while keeping things quietly fabulous. It doesn’t need to shout for attention; it's too cool for that.

Composition: 100% FibreGuard Polyester / 100% Leather.

Assembly: None required.

Care instructions:  Wipe leather clean with leather cleaner and conditioner. Remove any stain residue from upholstery with a flat utensil. Apply water to the stain and blot using a white paper towel. Repeat the process until you can’t see the stain on the paper towel anymore. For stubborn stains, use any white bar of soap, apply water and rub in a circular motion with a microfibre cloth. Repeat the process until the stain is completely removed. Allow to air dry.

Please note: We believe in environmentally responsible sourcing and traditional, small-scale craftwork in honour of beautiful, natural leather goods. Due to the nature of genuine leather, irregularities in terms of marks, scratches and dye lots can be expected.

Note: Leather and fabric colours may vary slightly. Before we commence production, we will contact you to view a sample of the actual colours at our showroom or send a sample via courier.

• Estimated Delivery Time: 2–7 business days
• Oonline orders are delivered within 2–4 business days to major centres (Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, and Durban), and within 7 business days for regional or remote areas.
• Please note, delivery timeframes exclude weekends and public holidays.

Production Lead Times

• Scatter cushions, rugs, robes, table linen, and table décor: 1–2 days (unless otherwise stated)
• Bedding, towels, and wallpaper: 5–10 days
• Gallery walls, wall art, and lighting (including lamp bases and shades): 10–15 days
• Headboards, ottomans, and storage boxes: 2–3 weeks
• Dining and occasional chairs: 3–4 weeks
• Couches: 3–4 weeks
• Tables (bedside, side, and dining tables): 3–5 weeks
• Wall units: 3–5 weeks

Additional Information

• We offer door-to-door delivery nationally and internationally. (Please note: we do not deliver to PO Boxes, and collections are not available.)
• Final shipping fees, taxes, and any discount codes are applied at checkout for South African orders.
• For international deliveries, please contact us for a shipping quote.
• Orders paid via EFT will be processed once funds reflect in our account. (This may take up to 48 hours.) Orders will be cancelled if payment is not received within 72 hours.

• All deliveries must be inspected and signed off before the driver departs. If any item is damaged or defective, please notify us within 24 hours at info@giavainteriors.com.
• If an item is out of stock, a full refund will be issued.
• Refunds will be processed within 5 business days after the item has been inspected. Refunds are made via EFT into the customer's nominated bank account, with proof of banking details required from the bank.
• Sale items and custom-made products are non-refundable.
