Care Instructions: Digital UV printed wallcoverings onto smooth materials are extra washable. Moderate soiling can be removed with a damp cloth using a dabbing action. Dry with a clean absorbent cloth, ensuring the surface is dry at skirting level. Always wipe from the bottom upwards to avoid streaking. Avoid using bleach or abrasive detergents. 

Please note: Wallpaper orders cannot be cancelled or returned once the order has been placed.

Wallpaper installation preparation guidelines: 

1. Wallpaper can only be applied to smooth, rhyolited walls.
2. Apply a coat of acrylic primer or bonding liquid to new and existing walls (available from your nearest hardware store).
3. Newly painted walls needs at least 4 weeks to dry before applying wallpaper.
4. Remove all mirrors and wall art before installation.
5. Nail holes, chips, cracks and wall irregularities should be filled, smoothed and sealed with acrylic primer.
6. Wallpaper can not be applied to textured walls.
7. Ensure that your wallpaper comes from the same batch to eliminate any minor colour changes.
   

After wallpaper installation:

1. Allow wallpaper to dry slowly by keeping windows closed.
2. Do not use fans or heaters to expedite the drying process.
3. Avoid physical contact during this time: Do not touch, rub, or lean against the wallpaper.
4. Bubbles may appear as the wallpaper dries.
5. If bubbles persist after 10 days, contact us on info@diygirls.co.za for assistance.

Delivery Timelines

• Estimated Delivery Time: 2–7 business days
• Oonline orders are delivered within 2–4 business days to major centres (Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, and Durban), and within 7 business days for regional or remote areas.
• Please note, delivery timeframes exclude weekends and public holidays.

Production Lead Times

• Scatter cushions, rugs, robes, table linen, and table décor: 1–2 days (unless otherwise stated)
• Bedding, towels, and wallpaper: 5–10 days
• Gallery walls, wall art, and lighting (including lamp bases and shades): 10–15 days
• Headboards, ottomans, and storage boxes: 2–3 weeks
• Dining and occasional chairs: 3–4 weeks
• Couches: 3–4 weeks
• Tables (bedside, side, and dining tables): 3–5 weeks

• We offer door-to-door delivery nationally and internationally. (Please note: we do not deliver to PO Boxes, and collections are not available.)
• Final shipping fees, taxes, and any discount codes are applied at checkout for South African orders.
• For international deliveries, please contact us for a shipping quote.
• Orders paid via EFT will be processed once funds reflect in our account. (This may take up to 48 hours.) Orders will be cancelled if payment is not received within 72 hours.

• All deliveries must be inspected and signed off before the driver departs. If any item is damaged or defective, please notify us within 24 hours at info@giavainteriors.com.

• Refunds will be processed within 5 business days after the item has been inspected. Refunds are made via EFT into the customer's nominated bank account, with proof of banking details required from the bank.
• Sale items and custom-made products are non-refundable.
