Customization: As our headboards are made-to-order, we're able to customize this product to your exact requirements. Contact us to request a quote for alternative colours or sizes.

Assembly: None required.

Care Instructions: Spot clean with water or very mild detergent.

Note: Fabric colours may vary slightly. Before we commence production we will contact you to view a sample of the actual colours at our showroom or send a sample to you via courier.

      Delivery Time:  2-7 Days

      DIYgirls online deliveries take between 2-4 days for main centres (Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town and Durban) and up to 7 days for regional and remote areas. Delivery times are based on business days, excluding weekends & public holidays.

      Production & handling lead time:

      - Scatter cushions, rugs, robes, table linen, & table decor: 1-2 days (unless otherwise specified).

      - Bedding, towels & wallpaper: 5-10 days.

      - Gallery walls, wall art and Lighting (including lamp shades & bases): 10-15 days.

      - Headboards, ottomans & storage boxes: 2-3 weeks.

      - Dining & occasional chairs:  3-4 weeks.

      - Couches: 3-4 weeks.

      - Tables (including bedside tables, side tables & dining tables): 3-5 weeks.

      - Wall units: 3-5 weeks.

      Please note:  

      - We offer national and international door-to-door delivery (no collections or delivery to PO Boxes).

      - Final shipping costs across South Africa, taxes and discount codes (where applicable) are calculated and added to cart orders at checkout.

      - Please contact us to obtain a quote for international shipping.

      - Manual EFT order payments will only be processed once the funds have been transferred (may take up to 48 hours). Orders will automatically be cancelled, if payment is not received within 72 hours.

      Giava Interiors Returns & Refund Policy

      This policy applies to purchases made via our online store. It outlines eligibility, time frames, and procedures for returns and refunds.

      Return Eligibility

      You may return stock items (ready-made products) within 7 business days of delivery if you are not satisfied. To be eligible:

      • The item must be unused and in its original condition and packaging.
      • You must provide proof of purchase.
      • You must notify us of your intent to return within 7 business days of receiving the item.
      • Return shipping costs are your responsibility, unless the item is damaged or defective.

      Returns must be shipped back to us within 5 business days of your return request confirmation.

      Non-Returnable Items

      The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

      • Wallpaper
      • Sale items
      • Discontinued stock
      • Made-to-order, special-order, customised, or personalised products

      Damaged or Defective Items

      If your order arrives damaged or defective, notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Email us at info@giavainteriors.com with:

      • Your order number
      • Photos of the item and packaging
      • Description of the issue

      If approved, we will provide a refund, repair, or replacement at no cost to you.

      Refunds

      Once your return is received and inspected (within 72 hours of arrival), refunds will:

      • Be processed to your original payment method
      • Be issued within 5–10 business days
      • Exclude original delivery or return shipping costs, unless the item is defective

      Exchanges

      We do not offer exchanges. To obtain a different item, follow the return process and place a new order.

      How to Request a Return

      To initiate a return, email info@giavainteriors.com with:

      • Your full name and order number
      • Reason for the return
      • Photos of the item (and packaging, if applicable)

      We will respond with the return address and next steps.

      Policy Updates

      Giava Interiors reserves the right to update or amend this Returns Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will apply to orders placed after the updated policy is published on our website.

      We adhere to strict health and safety protocols. Every parcel is sanitized before the order leaves the workshop. Delivery personnel are screened daily, wear face masks during delivery, are required to sanitize their hands regularly and maintain social distancing. As an additional precaution, it is recommended that customers wear face masks and personally sanitize their parcels, after delivery.

      Slight colour variations may occur. Material samples can be viewed at our Design Studio, by appointment only. Alternatively, samples can delivered via Courier (standard rates apply).
